Singing from the Heart of the Black Country

We have supported many local and national charities over the years.

In recent times we have aligned ourselves with the current Mayor of Dudley, and have chosen to support his / her nominated charities throughout the mayoral year - and this year  (May 2016 to April 2017) is no different. This means that proceeds from our three main concerts (Autumn 2016, Christmas 2016 and Spring 2017) will be contributing to the Mayor’s fund.

Mayor of Dudley's charities 2016 - 2017

The Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Mohammed Hanif, has chosen to help three charities in his year as Mayor.

In addition to the above, we will also be supporting the following

On 7th October 2017 - in our concert at St Mary’s Church, Kingswinford - Action Heart and The Leukaemia Unit, Georgina Ward, Russells Hall Hospital

On 9th November 2017 In conjunction with Dudley MBC at the Festival of Remembrance - The Royal British Legion

Diabetes UK (Care. Connect. Campaign.) Dudley borough local group

Dudley CIL (physically and visually impaired with mental health and learning disabilities)

Councillor Mohammed Hanif, Mayor of Dudley, said:

“Both the Mayoress and I are looking forward to being ambassadors for the borough and promoting all the good things that happen here as well as the rich Black Country culture full of industrial heritage. “

We have also supported

Access in Dudley   A disabled people’s user-led charity, formed to improve disabled people’s access to the built environment, parks, services, transport and information. In particular they support Dudley Rowing Club to provide a boat giving disabled people the experience of the thrill of rowing.
